This project was the longest ongoing project I have ever done. The students learned alot about cacti. Students first made a clay pinch pot. While clay was drying and being fired students made a cactus by rolling newspaper to construct it. The next week they used paper mache. The following week we painted them. This week we were able to assemble them. I love how these turned out. It just so happened that students were learning about plant life in science when I was teaching this lesson. Look at those smiles!
